1 of almost 3000 music videos on this channel, all taken from my videotape collection.

Quite simply one of the greatest Rock N Roll bands ever. They do not get the recognition they truly deserve. They should have conquered the world.

Noddy's vocals were effortless. The best ever UK rock vocalist? He's got to be up there. Amazing.

Remember Neville Holder six GCE O-levels grammar school boy was Slade's principal songwriter along with Noddy. Jim composed most of the group's music and wrote some of the lyrics, too. He played the piano/keyboards as well and was the lead singer on a few Slade songs. At the age of 10 Jim then started learning violin and in 1960 he graduated with honours from the London National College of Music. He went on to pass the grades I to V with distinction at the Royal School of Music....give the boys some credit for being serious musicians that they were and influenced a generation!

I saw them twice in 1972 & the second time I was leaping about so much I lost my shoes. Luckily I found them at the front at the end, my Dad would not have been pleased.

As a young girl, they were my big role models in fashion and music. I still enjoy listening and looking to them today.

I unfortunately didn’t listen to Slade until I was in my 40s. Now they’re one of my favorite bands. Absolutely brilliant.

Saw these at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester in '73 and it was epic. It was so loud I was temporarily deafened and as I left the FTH to cross Peter St I was nearly flattened by a bus which I simply didn't hear. One of the best gigs I ever went to and I went to plenty.

One of the premier rock bands in history that their music stands the test of time.

Saw them at Wembley empire pool later in 72 and again in 73 and at earls court in 73. Best shows I've seen. Absolutely brilliant live.

Great stompin' glam-rock, Slade and The Sweet were both a joy to behold back in the day.

Slade were incredible . I was only 8 when this video was taken but I loved them and spent any spare pocket money on their singles. Did get to see them in 1982 at a fabulous Christmas show at Hammersmith Odeon. They were still amazing ❤

I was 13, saw them late night on Don Kirschners Rock Concert I believe and they blew me away, nobody else in Enid, Oklahoma heard of them and I searched every store that sold records for a couple years before I found Sladest !

I was only 14 at the time of this, but Slade have been with me for band who deserve so much more credit for dominating a generation
