Anyone who was lucky enough (and now old enough) to have seen Slade in concert, will tell you what a fantastic time they had. It was always loud, it was always fun and they always made sure everyone left having had a good time. Unlike some artists of the day, they didn’t take themselves too seriously, and Noddy with that raw voice, I swear he used to swallow razor blades before each performance. 😁
Slade had so many hits - besides Merry Christmas, and well worth having a listen to some of their many songs, not just the hits, on a music app. Great rockers and powerful ballads too.
Very underrated UK band.

Being Black Country born and bred, i saw Slade quite a few times and they were by far the best live band i ever saw, and in Noddy they had the best voice in rock ever, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY.
