I absolutely love how Simon is just straight up honest and not afraid to give his opinion on things. Love the discussions you guys had on this video.

You can hear the sincerity in Simon's voice when he thanks his entire team and sponsors for making everything come together. He's a class act. I miss both my RX-7's but mostly the 79.

I'm an old rotary engine specialist from the 70s. Thank you for the detail and conversation in this video. It really brought me back to my days with Mazda.

Got to give you credit Fullboost, you get some of the nicest people who are more than happy to share their wealth of knowledge. Genuine people.

What a legend this bloke is. Polite and calmly spoken, happy to share his knowledge and a few little tricks of the trade, even goes out of his way to be as relateable as possible.

Great built, however, I'd love to see them running after the built is completed. That would be the icing on the cake :0)

Simon would be a good man to work alongside in the automotive industry. Loads of knowledge, passion for his craft and patience to teach

I bought a new RX2 in 1973. It was a screamer for 2 rotors. It was billed as an economy car. The best gas mileage I got was 13.5 MPG. I severely abused that engine and it never busted. Slipped my foot of the clutch at 7, 000 RPM. And occasionally miss shifted to third and hit 11, 000 RPM. It never broke. But the clutch wore out several times. As did the skinny 13 inch tires.

As a former 1980 rx7 road race crew chief, who has torn down and rebuilt a bunch of 12as, this video is inspiring, and that engine looks freaking amazing. Nice work!

This rivals the Mine's stuff i watched on the GT channel. Love to see the veterans kick knowledge. So valued

A doritos commercial was played right before this video started.... I've never seen a more appropriately timed advertisement in my entire life.

I could listen to that engine builder all day, he has a calmness about him. He would be an excellent coach and is an artist at his craft. Reminds me of the Bob Ross of engine building, minus the wild hair. This guy does excellent work!

As of 12/2020 mazda announced that they will be making new parts for rx7s again.

I love how beautifully simple rotaries are. No valves, gears or pushrods; just block, crank and rotors.

I’m so happy to see people still exploring these smooth compact powerful emission engines ..fascinating
