It’s not about empathy and they’re not even about people having empathy for them but actually demanding it and that is just something that cannot be demanded upon somebody if they don’t have it or feel toward a person and the subject matter of their experience or views. Christian men cannot be empathetic toward homosexual men simply because in order to empathize you would have share in that experience with that person by perceiving to be in their shoes, in order to understand, and that is simply a place straight men or Christian men do not go. that doesn’t mean you can’t empathize with the persons struggle in that if they see any sort of it as a struggle which you may then be able to quickly, and clearly understand as to why, but that is about the extent of it. 😖

Wasn’t the bible all about Christians giving up all of their earthly possessions and wealth to the poor, so they can focus on their god

Wasn’t Jesus also a friend to the poor and to those who were outcasted and hated the people who hoarded their wealth, aka people who practiced greed?
