Support, support, support.

Such strong advice, you say it thrice.

She's probably the most efficient vocal coach on YouTube I seen a couple of her videos and I immediately subscribed

Actually singing very loud can be safe if done properly (different vocal tract shape, more vocal folds connection,  modyfing all of the vowels to very bright and narrow vowels like "ee" and "eh"). Little babies (and elementary school children also) often scream very loud even with distortion in their voices and they never go hoarse. Look at the vocalists like Russell Allen or Jorn Lande - they're singing incredible loud live and they do it their whole life without any problem. They're not pushing and straining or pushing more air to get louder. It's just different vocal tract shape, different position (completely different placement of the tone) that gives that distinct character of the tone.

I find it hard to keep singing with my chest voice instead of switching to head voice when singing higher and this helped. Thank you !

I managed to learn how to belt high notes, but i tend to yell them out and although they don't hurt, they don't sound very smooth or nice. This video helped me hear the difference, so I hope it'll work for me and I'll manage with some more practice. Thank you for the video 😄

I’ve noticed how my volume got too loud my voice would thin and burn out, to the point it’s just air. Thank you for this!

Great video, Freya! I like that pushing against the wall cue, I forgot it even existed! It sounds like a great way to help me find that "whole body tension" you told me would help improve my singing.

This helped so much ! Especially the exercice of acting like you're pushing someone or a wall, it really made me understood how to support correctly ! I had been yelling up until now, now it feels like actual belting, and I couldn't understand how to properly support, so helpful thank you ! ^^
