PM Modi arrives in Germany for three - nation Europe visit

On the first part of his trip to three European countries, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Germany. He will meet with newly appointed Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the first time. On May 2, the Prime Minister will co-chair the 6th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations in Berlin with Scholz. Only India and Germany participate in the IGC, which takes place every two years.

I assume the cool weather will be a welcome respite from the heat in India. It will also be interesting to see if PM Modi comes back with any agreements regarding offshore wind power development. Germany and Denmark are the world leaders in offshore wind technology and deployment, and India is one of, if not the largest potential beneficiary of offshore wind power. It's still 10-15 years away but it's the right time to energize the development.

Some channels are going over the top with chest-beating about PM's reception in Europe. It is embarrassing. Indian channels should wind down their unnecessary jingoism. Instead quiet but firm diplomacy and following through on bilateral commitments will raise India's stature. 🙏

Our founding fathers were great that is why we are a great democracy and the third strongest military power after Russia and the USA surely stronger than a Jewish backed China. Also Indiraji contributed greatly towards this including our USSR-RUSSIAN brothers for who most (if not all, we do have some greedy elements) Indians have gratitude and absolute loyalty. Indiraji fragmented Pakistan, China ran out of fear, the USA was paralyzed. She blasted the nuclear bomb, made Sikkim, parts of POK, Siachen, etc, , return to India. Few people in BJP who are effective are Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Seetharaman, Jaishankar, etc. rest it is mostly an organization of illiterate subjective individuals. Modi is lured by other countries and just travels and achieves nothing. He should work in India and remove poverty, boost our defence further, control the law and order, etc. Yes Germany and India have a special relations. Both have an Aryan past and this mighty race has its origins in Northwestern Indian subcontinent and touching region of Central Asia. Indians eat a lot of pork but never beef. We are surely not followers of Semites but just respect all including the Semites.
