In this video you will see how the Samsung Galaxy Android UI has evolved from the early TouchWiz days on the Galaxy S, to the present with One UI 6! Note that One UI 2-4 weren't included because personally I believe the changes weren't that significant. All screenshots and screen recordings you
see in this video were recorded by me.

The nostalgia. Not just the ui, but some of the music as well. I had samsungs with android 4 and 5 as a kid. Never thought a phone ui could make me feel nostgic, but then I remember the moments as a kid. I've gotten back to samsung now with android 14

Samsung software brought a revolutionary change with the arrival of One UI. One of my devices still has One UI 1.0 (Galaxy J4+)

6:31 I don't know why they kept this icon pack for such a short amount of time. It looked so nice!

November this year will be a decade that I've had my Galaxy Note 4 origionally realeased in 2014 running Android 4.4 Kitkat. It still works and can do things phones can't do today.

Holding down the recent apps button used to be the one handed way to access the menu in an app that is usually in the top corner, not it does nothing. Holding # on phone dialer was vibrate toggle, notlw nothing. Hovering the S-Pen over a number on the phone dial pad showed what speed dial was assoviated with that number. Holding the S-pen to the side of the homescreen level with the page dots went to the next page in that direction. You could choose an animation for swiping through home screen pages. If you held down on the dots on the hone screen it became a bar and you could slide through your different pages to view all your pages easier than continuously swiping. The camera app had the picture capture and video recording buttons next to eachother for better efficiency. Dual camera let you take pictures with the front and rear cameras at the same time with/without templates.

Love the universal remote IR blaster. I had control of the TVs in the school cafeteria because I didn't have a dumb CrApple iPhone. I was the only one who could print by downloading the Xerox plugin & wasn't locked to Airprint.

My first Galaxy was the Galaxy S1, what a great time. After some years of using Motorola, Meizu, Xiaomi and Poco I returned to Samsung and was surprised by One Ui on the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, now I'm happy with my S23 Ultra.

I miss the way it used to be, my only old devices are a Galaxy Y TV and a tablet from a time when there was a craze for buying tablets and almost every child had one, something I noticed and although I prefer a lot of old things compared to current, for a while now everything has been adopting the "simple,
Less detailed interfaces and application icons with sound effects so simple that you don't even remember they exist, it took me 1 year to discover that my Galaxy A32 had sound when unlocking the screen. Current fashion is now simplistic and minimalist

My father is still using Android 4.2.2... Even the wallpaper of the lockscreen is the same.... He bought that phone back in 2015. And still the phone is working fine...

It's funny how something small can all of sudden unlock hidden away memories and give you a nostalgic overload.
Seeing that old touchwiz ui and that old android store logo, took me back to another time.

Before it felt more alive, now everything is so minimalist and lifeless.

My very first Android skin was OneUI (9 Pie) back in 2019! Then I had Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 which had Android 6 in it! I liked the dialer on Android 6. It reminded me of iOS 6's dialer. I love this video. The earlier UI had their own charm. And on Android 6, you could see OneUI's skeleton.
