I always get a chuckle when LPL says "...and this wave rake." It exhibits maximum disdain for a lock, especially one which the manufacturer describes as pick resistant. Thanks for the post, LPL.

I'm really impressed by LPL creativity. His picking is perfect, but creatively create a 3 minute video from a 4 pick in 10 second is impressive. Poor guy has to think about it night and day... How to fill that 2:50. These ideas with magnets whisky and other stuff are really amazing for me.

I imagine someone at the factory considers raking to be different from picking and told their manager "one of the most famous lock-pickers in the world didn't even _try_ to pick our lock open!"

One look at those keys and even a novice like me could see that LPL was going to speed run it with a wave or comb. The jiggler was a nice surprise. I bet he could have made a improvised pick from a soda can or something similar if he wanted to really ream it.

I routinely open my van the same way when I forget to unlock the liftgate or passenger doors. I use my motorcycle key as a jiggler. It’s literally faster and easier than walking around to the open driver door to push the unlock button.

If it is actually stainless then it would be a 400 series stainless, low in nickel, chromium and high in iron. Much like cheaper stainless exhaust systems. Have a nice day LPL!
