I can admit that I made a wrong IT career path before. when I graduated in 2018, i was nervous back then and really no idea what career path should I take. That time even my heart cannot follow what’s makes me good and love. I got hired from a first job and later realize, it wasn’t the one that I’m looking for. back then, I faced many people who belittle my career as an IT. takes me almost a year to find the next approriate job of what i want. also, they keep pushing me about the job as an IT that applying a call center agent is the entry level. most of the people I’ve encountered is having that mindset. My explanation is not enough for them because i cannot even support because i still even dont know what really makes me good at in the field becaus it’s broad. now an oppurtunity gives me another try if this will maybe my field that i love and good at, and YES. this is finally the job that i want to work on to enhance my skills and knowledge, my job as a Desktop Support. I just got hired because of my dedication to learn new things and be open minded. this is very difficult if you are a fresh grad and have confusion of your career to take a step on. but proving yourself in the interview that you are open and willing to learn, this may help you getting hired to your job you are applying for. now i’m confident that i know what steps should i take in my career path because of sir lou. thankful that I found you sir.. god bless you

I chose the course BSIT without knowing kung san tlaga ako papunta. Gumraduate ako pero kulang eh more on theories lng kme nun. Hanggang sa nagkaron ako ng job as IT tech support, naintroduced ako sa hardware. Due to pandemic nawalan ako mg trabaho haha saklap. By watching your video sir lalo ko gustong matuto sa hardware/networking. Sana makapag train ako sa inyo sir soon 🙏. Lagi ko to inaattract. Keep on making videos sir. I am 2 years in our company. Medyo nahihirapan lang ako kasi subrang tipid ng company in regarding sa taohan big company Pero ako lang mag isang IT the worst thing is I’m the one who handling all role of IT works such as network plan radio installation IP setup computer hardware software maintenance security system and all IT related. Hi, I hope you can give me some advice. For context, I am a 2nd year BS BA Marketing undergrad and now in my early 30s. I dropped out in 2010 and tried my luck in the BPO industry. I started out as a call center agent from sales to tech support which helped me shift to IT, after previously taking on IT Helpdesk Roles and a brief stint in Incident Management I luckily got promoted again earlier this year as Knowledge Analyst. I know sa ITIL pretty relevant naman ang Knowledge Management pero I am thinking of my next move. I have over a decade of BPO and ITO experience but I want to know if returning to school and shifting to IT is a viable option? Or should I just go for external certifications like PMP, CCNA, or Azure/MS. Given that this age, we are now able to study and work remotely, and I feel that I am likely to get stuck in my current role as management path will require degrees or certs?
