Delhi Covid Crisis: Arvind Kejriwal Opposes L-G's Order, Cites Shortage Of Healthcare Staff

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal at DDMA meeting opposed LG Anil Baijal's decision of 5-day compulsory institutional quarantine for Covid-19 patients. Kejriwal said there is already a shortage of healthcare staff, how will it be possible to arrange doctors and nurses for thousands of patients at quarantine centres. He also said this will make people evade testing which will further increase the spread of infection.

I also oppose lg anil baijal'S decision of 5 day institutional quarantine. it's not possible . we have to give time to doctor for treating critical patient.LG need to go through the situation of delhi, the cases are exponentially increases and if we'll start doing institutional quarantine it creates a lot of problem. So Better we implement home isolation with mandatory precautions.I requested LG to take back his decision of 5 day mandatory institutional quarantine.
