I've had this video filed away for about a year, knowing that I had to replace the housing for the driving light on my wife's CRV (now handed down to our daughter). I finally got around to it this week and the video was absolutely perfect - so perfect I discovered that apparently when the Honda dealer did some warranty work several years ago, they didn't put the lower part of the bumper shroud back together properly (I had one bolt and 5 body pins underneath instead of 2 and 4).

Great instructions. Those two hidden grille clips in the top corners are pretty tricky. But at the final stage of pulling off the wrap - I wouldn't just start pulling straight forward, especially on an older car, because the older plastic gets, the more brittle it becomes. After breaking the 3 connection points on each side, I decided to slow down and carefully pry each of the 4 remaining connection points on the front. Just get a small flat head and go along the top of the front, twisting / prying those points loose. Totally worked and I didn't break those remaining plastic "tabs" that clip the top on. I'm not too worried about the broken 3 on the sides because of the screw on each side.

Excellent instructions. Finding those two top corner clips is quite the trick. They are barely visible through the grill slats, with a LOT of light.at an awkward viewing angle. Luckily they are yellow so they are recognizable when looking carefully through a small slot in the plastic surrounding it.

Thanks a zillion. Installing a base plate and tow bar, and their instructions just didn't make sense on taking the grill off by unclipping from the backside. Coming in from the front of the grill is SOO much easier. Thanks!

Perfect, thank you so much, I ordered grill clips first because I knew they weuld be brittle and they were. Got the grill off after very careful work..the top clips being the hardedst. I did break 3, but I bought 30 for about $9 on Amazon. Changed out my daughters headlights and this video helped immensely. Unfortunately her hood cable is now broke so I have to do it again.🤦‍♂

Hello! I was wondering if you might consider doing a video on how to remove items that get lost below in the door of a power window in a 2013 Honda CRV. I left 2 one inch in diameter suction cups on my window and forgot to remove them before I rolled down the driver side window. Both got lost into the door and now there’s a windy sound when I drive on the freeway. Could you pls help? Thanks so much! What a great channel.
