I have the Adamas in FDE and it's becoming one of my favorite knives. Even with it's weight, I've had no problem carrying on gym pants. It's built like a tank and I wouldn't be afraid to take that with me anywhere

Metal, please ask them for a plain edge!! They will listen to you. I have the regular Presidio II CF Elite, great knife. If they release this in plain edge I will buy it.

I stopped doing serrations because the actual cutting edge becomes too short & makes you go back over things.
Might make sense if I was cutting straps or seatbelts all day.
Doesnt help that it looks like a tootsie roll.

I have this same one with black aluminum handles and S30V blade. It's a great knife that's super snappy. The safety switch was a little stiff for a couple days but now it's smooth. The deep pocket clip makes it nearly impossible for someone to notice!

In case nobody has said it, first run BM’s are often combo edged.

Cool knife, I wish you could still get the manual in aluminum. I own the 570 and 575 both in the cf elite scales.

What do you think about the nylon sheath

Great review MC 👍🏻 I own this knife and it’s my hard use/doing outdoor chores knife. So far it’s been great! I like it.

I'm curious about the Boker Karakurt, Vox design and Hogue built for 150 is pretty tempting.

Good looking heaven duty knife. Nice review. Definitely easy to pull the trigger on this one. Thanks as always. Great review.

Whoops. Already took mine apart. I’m sure I’ll figure it out at some point though

I like it!, but not the serrations. Hope they come out with a non serrated mini version

Benchmade already released an exclusive, plain edge, manual version of the mini Presidio 2. It was the shot show exclusive and it was made in a fixed quantity, so this is an example of the problems that exclusives pose for companies. It limits what they can make in the future and it may even explain why some knives don't show up in the custom shop, but that's just speculation.

Where can you get this for $255? Everywhere I found that has it in stock has it priced at $315.

I love the folding chute knife appeal of the original (520/5000) - hated the original's pocket shredding scales, though. The new one looks a bit "smoothed out" compared to the original

Still waiting on that plain edge, Benchmade. Such a good looking knife.

I have the 5700 & the 575. I definitely like the cf elite scales much more, it's a shame that I don't really like the 5700 its a beast knife ! Now if I could get some aftermarket scales for it! Heck yea
