In my humble opinion this is the most underrated Benchmade knife to date, I love it more than my Spyderco shaman.

I’ve had a Presidio II CF close to two years and it’s a staple in the over-built part of my edc collection. Very well made and confidence inspiring imo.

I just bought this today for my birthday. I like this much better than the old version with aluminum scales. Very good video. Thanks.

Out of my few benchmade crkt spyderco. This presidioo 2 is my most favorite very sturdy strong and reliable.. only issue when very new it locks up sometimes.. just play with it a few times then it will be fine.. had 3.. 😂 1 with my vest.. edc pocket and inside my car.. used it in the jungles of the philippines.. rain or shine still works no rust on the blade only in the screws..

Probly one of Benchmade's most slept on knives in its price point. Got the blacked out half serrated version, great little tactical work knife lol

Thanks for the review. For years I've had the original full size Predidio 520 (which I love) but found it too big for my edc tasks (over-knifed, if you will). I now own the mini version of this knife (in M4) and find it the perfect size for pocket carry. I find the neutral handle sooo comfortable. Mel Pardue knew what he was doing 👍🏾

The previous version with machined aluminum scales is even better. I talked with a rep at Benchmade about the change from aluminum to CF Elite. It was largely due to cost; pressed composite vs. machined metal. Hold the aluminum side by side with the CF Elite version and you'll see how the aluminum version is better balanced. Either way this is arguably one of their best knives. Also, that series of the Freek is outstanding. The full size Presidio II and Mini Freek make a great combination. Add an Adamas for the trifecta.

Just got this knive it already my Favorite knife feels great in hand over belt and a half decent price for a Benchmade. Way better than a Bugout that is over price imo

Thanks, Dave, for the share/review. I like the scale shapes on these and a similar Ritter RSK Mk1.

This was my first Benchmade and I LOVE it. Carry it every day everywhere! The Presidio and the Griptillian are two of my favorite knife models ever. {It's definitely fidgety by the way lol I play with mine all the time.} Because of these two being my favorite, I want all kinds of variations of them. I have a sheep's foot full size Grip, a drop point full size Grip and a mini DP too. The Presidio, so far, I have this one and the blacked out auto. I want minis, I want the other auto, I want old school Presidio 1 variants as well. This knife is incredible. The CF Elite shit is really strong. It's in the same pocket with my keys and brass knuckles and it has no marks in it after a few months. I can't believe the bug out and this are the same price! This model is so much more and so much more overbuilt in a great way. I hate the pocket clip though. I put the standard 3 screw clip on all of my Benchmades. The deep carry clips are hard as shit to get on my pocket because they don't curve the end of them up enough.

I had 3 presidio 2s. the presidio 2, the spyderco manix XL and standard size are all great knives.

The presidio is definitely my all time favorite, I seriously wish they woukd do some sprint runs with 3V or M4 steel. 3V seems like a great steel for this knife.

I need to get another presidio soon

The knife reminds me of a bugout that got beefier. I love the handle, fits nice in the hand. I only wish that the flipper was spring assisted.

This is a great knife. I have used mine for work outdoors and home use every day for the last 2 years. This knife is robust.

People (enthusiasts) get too hung up on steels. IMHO S30V is the only one most need truly. Even if it is an "old" steel (have it on my 2011 Buck Paragidm Pro and is still used today a lot as you know. Easy to sharpen, good edge retention and is a SS.

The Presidio 2....checks al the boxes including price actually (same as for the Spyderco PM2) and you can get it with a partially serrtged edge. Not a bad deal IMHO...rare for a Benchmade....which tend to be pricer than other brands..."butterfly tax"..

how is it in and out of pocket, I love my freak just so hard to get back in pocket . Benchmade's s30v outperformed most production m390, think it's a phenomenal steel

How often do you cut your hand with the pocket clip making the blade tip up in your pocket?

I bought 2 of these. I am surprised it isn't more popular.
