Meyiwa murder trial: Vodacom data expert back on witness stand

Показать описание
Vodacom data expert Pinky Vythilingam, is back on the witness stand in the Senzo Meyiwa Murder Trial in the Pretoria High Court today. Yesterday, tensions were visible when Vythilingam faced intense cross-examination from defence lawyer Charles Mnisi. Mnisi, representing accused 3 Mthobisi Mncube, challenged the integrity of the cell tower data which previously suggested a link between the suspects and Meyiwa's then-girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo. The defence has constantly challenged the state’s case, arguing that the evidence has been manipulated to falsely implicate the accused.
Meyiwa was shot and killed in Vosloorus in October 2014. Five men are on trial for his murder.
