6: Alert Indoor Camera Settings In this segment we’ll walk you through basic camera image and motion settings for your new Swann Alert Indoor Security Camera.

Given that the app gets updated as frequently as weekly, instructions on the video will match the app at the time of this video’s publication.

Select “Device settings”.

Then, select “Camera settings”.

Next, select your preferred quality.

Select “Image mirror” to horizontally reverse the orientation of the camera's video display

Select “Image flip“ to turn the camera's video display upside down. This is useful if your camera has been mounted upside
down.

Adjust the “Speaker volume” slider to control the cameras speaker volume.

Adjust the “Microphone volume” slider to control the cameras microphone volume.

Select “Save” to apply your changes.

In the “Device settings” tab, select “Motion settings”

Then, select the sensitivity level to optimize motion detection recordings for your environment.

Select the sensitivity for “Person detection”. You’ll receive alerts when the camera detects a person present in the motion event.

Select the sound sensitivity level needed to trigger recordings.

Now, determine how long the siren will sound when detection occurs.

Make sure to select “Save” to apply your changes.
