James O'Brien's most powerful Brexit monologue yet. This is the James O'Brien Brexit monologue which some listeners have branded the most powerful yet. Famed for his powerful and emotive soliloquies on the UK's departure from the European Union today James has outdone his previous bests. Listeners branded the Brexit commentary as "amazing" and "well worth a listen." As the deadline for securing a deal rapidly approaching, James said that "whatever happens in the next few days it's going to be bad." "Brexit was meant to make our lives better, right?" James's comments come as Boris Johnson warned it is "very, very likely" that the UK will fail to strike a post-Brexit trade deal with the European Union. His comments came after European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen said the negotiating teams' positions remained apart on "fundamental issues". The two leaders have agreed to make a decision on the future of the negotiations by the end of the weekend. Earlier Mrs von der Leyen said the UK would be free to decide whether to follow suit each time the EU changes its regulations - though if it refused the bloc would adapt the conditions for access to its markets. The level-playing field measures aimed at preventing the UK undercutting the EU on standards and state subsidies have proved a major stumbling block in the talks throughout.

Have you seen the National Front facist newspaper front page / manifesto from the 1970s it has about 6 bullet points as follows:
- Stop immigration, - Reject the Common Market, - Restore capital punishment, - Make Britain great again, - Scrap overseas aid, - Rebuild the armed forces.
Does it sound familiar ?

The terror of stupidity. A guy told me this 20 years ago. It has sticked with me all the time and serves as a reminder.

That was a million times more passionate intelligent and accurate than anything I have ever heard from a politician.

It’s amazing how some privileged schoolboys were able to persuade poor working class to vote against their own interests when they voted for Brexit.

He should have mentioned that they try to put the anger somewhere else to prevent the anger turning against THEM! Where it really belongs.

I am a cyclist, and I don't think my local government is helping anyone by removing bus lanes for their pseudo-green "cycle super-highways" plans!

When buses have to queue with all other traffic, then the non-car public, including cyclists have been damaged.

I think something needs to be done about Eton College, it seems to produce nothing but sociopaths.

I’m an expat living in the US for the past 27 years listen to JOB quite often, what a sensible guy. Tells it like it is we need more people like James to cut through the crap and stick to the facts. Good luck Britain at least we got the chance to vote to undo the last 4 years of trump.

Better share this with the Labour Party leadership because I think they've fallen quietly into line with a lot of Tory Party values.

Because people voted to exit the EU it does not mean they listen to JRM, boris or farage. People have their on life experiences.

Jacob RM's wife inherited 200 million pounds sterling. They got about 220 million. JRM has zero understanding of the plight of ordinary people and so he promoted Brexit. In the meantime, he moved his family and his funds to the continent, France, of all places. How's that for building trust in Brexit?

I note that some of the language used on this channel by Scots is reminiscent of the language used by the Irish before the struggle for Irish independence. Is it an omen?

So spt, and so worrying. Espeially James' observation that the Bexit failure is likely to provoke, not a stark realization that we got all of this horriby wrong, but that the dark looming clouds are set to get darker and nastier.
