If you're installing Snow Leopard, make sure you set your CPU to 1 (SINGLE CORE), not 4. Otherwise you'll never get past the black screen

I know this videos a year old but was just wondering if anybody knows why when I open the virtualbox application it doesn't start. If I go to the task manager it shows 2 instances of it running but nothing ever opens. I have tried reinstalling it as well
