Brenda should not have invited Missy and then not also invited Sheldon.

Mary wanting Sheldon to interact with other children is understandable, but that doesn't mean she should have forced Sheldon to go to the party when it became clear that no one else, INCLUDING SHELDON, wanted Sheldon at that party. All Mary accomplished by forcing Sheldon to go to the party was to make everybody else, INCLUDING SHELDON, mad at HER.

Missy probably feels like she needs a break from Sheldon sometimes, and probably viewed the birthday party as an opportunity for such a break from Sheldon, knowing that Sheldon wouldn't care about the birthday party anyway.

Brenda should not have objected to Billy being friends with Sheldon if she was that desperate for Billy to have friends.

Here is Mary being bossy and a control freak again, and sticking her nose were it doesn’t belong, Billy and Sheldon aren’t friends, Brenda didn’t want Sheldon there, proves Brenda is a better person, or just wants Mary off her back, Sheldon doesn’t want to be there, and neither does Missy, so no one is happy about it. Mary pulled the same thing, with Brendas friends, basically begging Brenda to join them, again Brenda felt bad, then said fine. Then Mary opened up her big yap, about an affair that Brenda is having l guess Mary doesn’t know the number one rule, when girlfriends share secrets, you keep your mouth shut.

See, this is why Sheldon is how he is. He argues with Mary and she gives in and lets him have his way, instead of disciplining him. Sheldon does not understand the word NO!.
