Republicans to take full control of Congress in January

The GOP will be in control of the White House in both chambers of Congress when President-elect Donald Trump takes office in January.

Speaker Mike Johnson spoke Tuesday about the victories and what Republicans plan to do now that they will have control. Scripps News Congressional Correspondent Nathan Reed has more.

I think the expiring Trump tax cuts should be made permanent, but the new tax cuts will have to be carefully served up. Also, a revamping of the ACA is needed, and unlike the Dems passing it with zero R votes in the Senate and the House, I think moderate Dems should be let in to the crafting of a replacement for the ACA. Let's not be as bad to them as they were to us.
