Republicans Take Control of US Senate

Republicans flip control of the US Senate. They now control at least 51 seats in the 100-member chamber. The GOP knocked out veteran Sherrod Brown in Ohio and picked up an open seat in West Virginia. Joe Mathieu reports.

We're in the age of letting businesses run rampant doing things that will negatively effect workers and in some cases everyone. Decreased protections for workers so that big companies can abuse their time and not give them their deserved earnings. Corporations will have a lack of oversight compared to the gilded age and depending on the industry pollute the environment (especially if the epa is weakened) and use everyone's data to keep trapping people in technology usage and keep them spending time and money on frivolous things. The brakes on climate change are off, looking towards worse hurricanes and droughts, higher temperatures. Woman's right to Healthcare are in danger and even their right to privacy. Globalpolitics rather than being handled properly bad actors will be allowed to keep invading and killing in Ukraine and Palestine. Who knows how China will end up but if they blockade Taiwan will not be assisted, even though Trump espouses anti-chinese dominance. USA dominance is waining and division is growing, we're weak and are getting taken advantage of by both parties.
