Early in childhood, Australian-born Ashleigh Toole sang with her siblings in the Central Coast, Tamworth Country Music Festivals and other venues. From these early experiences, she gained the know-how to performing live.

At the age of 17 she was one of the last twelve contestants on Australian idols showing her real talent.
