Wow! I've never heard it sung understated. ❤️ Sounds beautiful! Only Norah could do this. Incredible! Very calming. wow. just wow.

If ever a backup singer made a primary singer better, this is it. 😻😻😻

I wish Norah would have this song solo recorded as well.

Holy smokes! And who is the guy? Great duet.

Such a different take than the Linda Ronstadt version, but really good. It's not often someone can remake such an iconic song so differently and have it work so well.

Blue Bayou
(Bye You)
Norah Jones

I feel so bad I got a worried mind
I'm so lonesome all the time
Since I left my baby behind
On Blue Bayou

Saving nickels saving dimes
Working til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou

I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou

Where you sleep all day
And the catfish play
On Blue Bayou

Where those fishing boats
With their sails afloat
If I could only see (c)
That familiar sunrise
Through sleepy eyes
How happy I'd be

Maybe I'll go back there again
Maybe I'll see some of my friends
Maybe I'll be happy again
On Blue Bayou

Saving nickels saving dimes
Working til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou

I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou

Where the folks are fine
And the world is mine
On Blue Bayou

Where that girl of mine
By my side
The silver moon
And the evening tide
Oh some sweet day
Gonna take away
This hurting inside

Oh I'll never be blue
My dreams come true
On Blue Bayou

That's M. Ward! I love that guy! Check out his song 'Chinese translation'! One of my favorite songs for sure!

Her voice is like a warm blanket, or fine wine. Wish they'd remain the melody a tad more though..

something tells me they have bananas and avocados in their kitchen and we've been welcomed there

I don't know who the guy is but he's not serving the song by singing the main melody so quietly that you can't really hear him. Norah is great as ever.

The chemistry between these two during this number is electrifying.

I wonder if they were boning...
