I honestly never really knew how much I appreciated this channel until recently. Started fly fishing and started watching this channel pretty early on. Started tying my own flies, and started making really hideous looking flies that eventually started looking better. Started catching lots of fish. Started appreciating how good my flies looked. Realized it was mostly because of this channel. Thank you for all the advice and how to’s!

I have watched tying videos from dozens of producers, Lefty Kreh makes me laugh, and I love him, but you are my absolute favorite, hands down. I am relatively new (3yrs) and losing my vision, which is another reason I love your videos, they are up close, and easier for me to learn. Again, Thank You tightlinevideo, Thank You 🎣🎣🙏🏼

This is the best video on tying a copper john. The others are pretty amateurish compared to this one. Excellent instruction.

This is the first fly I ever tied. I picked a really hard one for a beginner! Also tried the prince nymph. Went into fly fish food and said " I want to start tying flies, but I am sure i need to start with something simple like copper john or prince nymph" Lance Egan was kind enough to also suggest I start with some black beauties and san jaun worms Hahah!

Well I been tying files for going on 50 years now and I have sinned a lot at the vise. This is some of the very best fly tying video on You Tube.  I have been going away from 5 min epoxy in recent years - I like the Loon Fly finish and just zap it with a light. But epoxy is fine, just tie a dozen or two then epoxy at once. Great pocket water nymph, been using one as my heavy in Czech Nymphing- I get as many hook up with it as I do with the other two.

Bad ass!!! Tying some for a friend who uses them for Atlantics in Sault Ste Marie. UV gel seems like less of a pain. The epoxy would set up before I tied three of them 😂😂😂. Great tie. Thank you 🎣🐟😃
