Video HSG

Video HSG is an innovative method of doing HSG or hyaterosalpingography. HSG is an investigation done to look for patency of fallopian tubes. Routinely X-ray films are taken to know the patency of tubes. But in conventional method some vital information may be missed. Video HSG provides an excellent way to assess the tubal patency. In video HSG we use a C arm and the video is recorded using any simple recording software.

HSG completed today (painless with local anesthesia, coughed when administered felt nothing)and no blockage detected. Follicle scan shows 22m for left ovary and 3mm for right and endo thickness shows 13mm. Ovulation is near like in a couple days. Praying this is the month ❤

I had this done Thursday and lord it’s the most painful thing I have ever under go, my cervix was closed so they had to give me pills to help open it to be honest I don’t think I can ever do this again .the after pain and cramps o lord but I know it will work it soon I’ll be over joyed with a baby boy or a girl trusting God ❤❤❤

I had this done today. Have seen few of this videos before hsg so i was bit nervous. But luckily no paid apart from the cramp while the dye spread inside the tube. So hope for the best ❤❤❤

I had mine done last week Thursday, the pain was crazy, my Doctor didn’t advise me to take a pain killer ahead the procedure, but thank God my both tubes are opened

I had the HSG done today and it was painless, took 600 mg ibuprofen beforehand.

HSG test done 2 hrs ago. It's not painful. I have watched so many YouTube video I was scared. But touchwood no pain at all all. Mild discomfort you can feel. So don't take so much tension. Free hokar jao

just had mine done. Wasn’t bad at all. Just a weird feeling. No blockage (thank God). Also I took one Tylenol and one 600 mg Ibuprofen an hour before.

I had it done this morning! I have one tube left and I have partial blockage but they said some of the dye spilled out so I don’t really know. We are scheduled to have IVF in march

I had this procedure done in Mexico December 11. Painful menstrual cramps during procedure and spotting after. I have left hydrosalpinx which needs removal before ivf. Less than 24 hrs after the hsg, I went to the er for severe abdominal pain and spasms. Couldn't walk, couldn't stand up straight, couldn't use any muscle in my abdomen without groaning in pain. Couldn't fully exhale. Did ct scan, 2 ultrasounds, blood work and all the doc said was possible ileitis and uti. No other findings. Pain in my uterus has come back a month later. I feel like this is all related to the hsg procedure. I didn't have this pain before. Soonest appointment with my ob isn't until February 5, but I don't think I can deal with this pain much longer. Could the hsg have caused some crazy inflammatory reaction and my uterus is still tender from the procedure? Could this be a complication I'm dealing with? I'm putting off surgery for the hydrosalpinx until I figure out what's going on. Just wish I had answers. Any one else go through something similar?

Had my second test done 3 years apart and it hurt worse than the first one, im i felt hard pressure and cramping across my whole uterus. If was the longest and painful 2or 3 minutes ive ever experienced next to labor pains. I dont know my results yet, worried my fallopian tubes msybe closed just from that horrible pain. Hopefully my gyno will fill me in tomorrow with some good new 🙏🏽

Hi sir, 2 days back i am doing hsg test ..and my report results are mentioned below..sir please tell me this report is normal are any complications to get pregnant...
Visualised extent of uterine cavity is normal in size with smooth contour
no mucosal irregularities noted
left fallopian tube is normal in course and caliber with
prominent right fallopian tube with pooling of contrast on right side -? Adhesions
spillage of contrast noted in to peritoneal cavity on both sides

Hi Sir, we have taken HSG Test last month
Doctor hasn't informed us that we should'nt plan Pregnancy on same month of HSG Test, Now my wife is pregnant doctors are advising not to have this pregnancy because Dye used in HSG Test & X-Ray radiation might affect egg quality, Can u give clarity on these?

Had HSG today very minimal pain my doctor was very gentle also I took a 500mg Tylenol and cbd for anxiety it all went well and my tubes are open
