I got the schematic from Radio Electronics mag and made a "walkie talky" looking version in a small plywood case, with home made whip antenna and an earphone mounted on the side. Super-regen radio performed fairly well with a good variable tuning capacitor. The nuns at St. Stanislaus school though I as a genius, fooled 'em.
