One time I was shopping at a small mom & pop health food store and I noticed when I got to my car that they had way undercharged me. I went back into the store and told them there was a problem and they were so grateful. So worth it to do the right thing.

I took advantage of getting a Master's Degree in HR while stationed in Germany doing a very slow work environment. I also received training as equipment and budget custodians. It paid off after retiring from the AF. I was a Budget Analyst and HR Manager. God is good!

As far as I can tell, you are one of the only honest “financial advisor” on YouTube, thank you for that! You are really one of the good guys Clark, making a difference imho.

Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.

The economy is grappling with uncertainties, global fluctuations, and pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.

I started a service business as a self-employed person. I had two years experience with a job at a company. Those people knew me, but to get more clients, several times I did small jobs for free, understanding that I had no college degree or certification at all, was female and a single mother, and working out of my home 40 years ago, all strikes against me. Very quickly I was overwhelmed with work.

Sure appreciate your show. Living on Social Security but there are still some tips that are helpful to me. People need to listen to your program long before retiring.

Thank you, Clark for encouraging people to be honest! I'm the same kind of person and I was taught from a child to do the right thing and to be honest. It's shocking to me how many people you wouldn't report that they're not paying the right amount or that they intentionally tried to not pay and then they wonder why the prices go up.

I NEVER use self checkout. There is no value in performing unpaid labor for the store. If we got a discount for it...maybe...

MONEY CRISES and long-lasting effects? As a 73 yr. old daughter of a Depression Era mother who starved as a child, I can add that this kind of fear-based money crisis affects generations through fear of lack of all kinds. My oh my. Long-time, appreciative listener, and I'm still learning!

I for one, am SUPER grateful you got into giving financial advice! I absolutely LOVE getting on your website to poke around and learn as much as I can. I remember your story I heard on the radio of how cheap you are 😅 One of the cheapest things you say you do is donate a suit to Goodwill so it can be dry cleaned and then buy it back. You said it is a lot cheaper than taking it to a dry cleaners😂

Call us Members of the Crazy Club. I loved your story of "not charging enough." I can share that story when I returned to the garden center to let them know that I purchased eight bags of potting soil but was charged for only two. Indeed, they looked at me like I was crazy! "No one does that, " said the manager. Now I can say, "Yes, they do. Clark and I play the purchase game fair & square." The garden center and my garden are thriving, due to the amendments of honesty and integrity.

I was being checked out at a regional grocery store. I paid and pushed my stuff to my car. But in my head, I thought something was wrong. I looked at the receipt and they had not scanned some bottles of soda in the bottom of my cart. I packed the items that I had paid for, walked back in and went to a different checkout to scan the items. No noise, no bother.

Financial planning is like navigation. If you know where you are and where you want to go, navigation isn't such a great problem. It's when you don't know the two points that it's difficult...

I had 2 donuts at Walmart ring up for 16.98. The price was $1.40. I had already paid when I realized it. I went to customer service. They wouldn't refund my card. They would only give me a gift card. I don't believe it was an accident. They tried to steal my money and then refuse to refund after I caught them. I bought toilet paper and canned food to get rid of the card. I rarely go to Walmart now.

Ingles also has things ring up wrong but you get the item free when it does that which is a better policy. Still, how many people overpaid vs me getting the item free? Funny how items never ring up lower than what the price is supposed to be. Always watch each item ring up.
