After a week since Game 2 of the playoffs, Clark has finally spoken up to reveal her plans for the upcoming WNBA season! What is currently verifiable from either Caitlin's statements or Indiana Fever statements are : 1) She will NOT play professional basketball in the offseason (Not in Europe, not in the "Unrivaled" league, not anywhere). She will focus on rest, reflection, and some golf until "Indiana becomes too cold" and 2) She will be back in the WNBA for the 2025 season. We cannot wait to see her play!

Her playing in Europe is speculation and simply not true

She should leave the WNBA. Many players abusing her etc..., the last assault was an attempt to blind her.
The WNBA is so screwed up they don't deserve her.

I am so disgusted with how she had been treated, by all the wnba. All the women of the wnba have acted like petty jealous,
They should all be ashamed of themselves. I will never do anything to support any of the other players !!!

She should really leave for Europe. The WNBA does not appreciate her.

The refs cost the Fever loss on the second playoff game! I smell a payoff!

The most impressive part to me is how she went to a school that was not a winning program and turned it around. She went to a professional program that was not a winning program and turned it around. She makes her the players around her better. It’s a shame both the WNBA and Nike seem to have no idea what to do with her.

Carrington is a GD liar and anyone who believes her trash talk should be banned from basketball, and she needs to be fired. Who needs that kind of thuggish trash in the sport? No one.

That eye poke was premeditated period. Take her out within 90 seconds was planned as a team tactic. No doubts. That player Dijonai or whatever her name is should be suspended for many games. Banish long nails, false eyelashes and any adornments.

Having watched the Caitlin Clark eye injury, several times, I felt I had to comment. I played rugby union at a very junior level back in the early 90s. I had a similar eye gouge injury that resulted in my lower eyelid being torn open. I was hospitalised and needed surgery, under a general anaesthetic, to stitch the eyelid back in. At the time of the injury, I was running down the wing with the ball, and the opposition winger unsuccessfully tried to tackle me by 'handing me off' in the face. This was a pathetic defensive move that lacked technical norms. At the time, I thought that the defender had smacked in the eye. I saw red, literally, and retaliated by thumping the defender. The ref ran over waving a red card at me, an automatic sending off offence - hitting a player, until he saw the blood pouring out of my eye socket. He immediately called for the medics, which resulted in me being rushed to hospital.

The reason I have posted this, no player, in any contact sport, should have long nails whilst playing. Whether they be natural or glue-ons. They are dangerous and can result in players being blinded. Looking at some of the WNBA players - a lot of them seem to think their nails are part of their sporting attire. This must stop and the WNBA must rule that no nail extensions/long nails are allowed on court. The WRFU (World Rugby Football Union) has ruled on eye-gouging in that if you are caught doing it - you will receive a 2 year ban from the sport. WNBA - wake up, check nail lengths before the start of each game...!

The Players Union--What a JOKE. If they had a REAL Union they would have stepped in and defended C. Clark before this inevitable result happened.

If one player can have such an impact after only one season it just goes to show just how badly the other players have performed during their career.

Caitlin exposed how badly the WNBA lacked appeal and she alone, entertained the whole world. Thank you Caitlin Clark.

The Zebras need to call the game fair. Gouging a player in the eye deliberately to effect their ability to play is a flagrant foul. These kind of fouls having happened repeatedly with no calls from the Zebras. I haven't seen this ugly type of play since the days of Bill Laimbeer of the Bad Boy Detroit Pistons.

You notice the smirky smile when she was asked about poking Caitlin Clark in the eyes 👀? Yeah shes guilty as hell and she did intentionally poke Caitlin in the Eyes! We've watched the play over and over and the downward bend of the fingers and fingernails into the eyes was 100% intentionally The WNBA needs to start issuing healthy fines and suspensions for anything flagrant that puts a players health or career in jeopardy!!!! If the WNBA does not step up and start being strict about these things there's going to be people seriously injured or careers ended from such hateful targeting 🎯 of players! THIS MUST BE PUT TO A STOP 🛑 IMMEDIATELY. Start issuing $5000 fines and games suspended without pay and most of this will come to a screeching halt.

The league players wanted her out, all those so called professional players hated her. They all wanted to be THE ONE to take out the threat to their spotlight! Its not about a better player, never was. If they didnt play street ball, I dont know what you'd call it. Nike shot themselves in the foot too. Stupid!!!

In Sweden we have had violent actions occurring on the hockey field that has been a police matter and resulted in a conviction. The poke on the eye is obviously done with intent and the immediate action of number 21 after the poke is full of remorse but it is too late, it has already happened... so she should be prosecuted for her action as an act of intended violence. Period.

It’s hard to make baskets when you’re on your back! The intentional fouls must stop!

Where is CC's MVP award. The MVP award has nothing to do with the player's personal stats.
It's how the player affected their entire team.
Without CC, the Fever would have been at the bottom of the barrel again rather than going to the playoffs in more than a decade!!!
Her icing on the cake is all the WNBA record she destroyed and set this year,

and still no "Rookie of the Year" trophy from Cathy Englebert representing the WNBA...lol.
