In this tutorial, you will learn how to use the HATCH command in AutoCAD.

HATCH command is used to fill an enclosed area or selected objects with a hatch pattern, solid fill, or gradient fill. You can use this command to make your 2D drawings stand out with unique patterns that let you fill enclosed areas which can add great visual vibrance to your drawings.

In AutoCAD, there are three standard hatch types to choose from, which are pattern, solid and gradient. You can also further modify the features of the aforementioned hatch patterns to fit your specific needs by adjusting the color, angle, scale as well as the transparency.
