Nice!! That last tip is really good . Hatch the broken up PLINES then erase the hatch. Happens a lot on the site plans I receive. A pain to redraw.

Hey there - there is a way to select hatch only by boundary - do you know what that selection option was? I have text above hatch and when double clicking it would often pick the hatch rather then edit the text box. Thanks!

Im trying to find a way to make the hatch and boundary a single object so that when I move/copy it, they all move together...

Great video though. Wanted to ask a question but decided to test it out. Apprently modifying the Gap Tolerance does not retrospectively apply, which is probably a good thing or it would potentially be disastrous when you find all your hatches gone if they were now beyond the threshold

Good video but I don't have a lot of the functions that you seem to have, such as the 'generate boundary' option? Its not included on my version of ACAD and that seems to happen a lot with the tips you cover in your videos. I have AutoCAD LT 2013 so that's probably the reason why! It's still fine for just about all the work I need to do and I don't have to pay an annual licence for it which is the best part - but the trade off is that I guess I am missing out on tons of functionality, even in the LT version....
