Throughout history Iran was conquered and occupied by foreign nations, but without exception ultimately the occupiers were assimilated in to the powerful Persian culture and they became Iranians over time and ironically they became the defenders of Iran

Thank you ancestors. I love you Arabs but let us keep our own culture and language. To this day you want to Arabize everything including the Persian gulf.

We Arabs don’t have attention to change the culture of others. When a leader attempts to force change of the cultural system of others, he is no longer a leader, and he isn’t brave enough to be. This is the difference between US and England including France, as well.

The arabs didnt have as mission to force people into arab culture. They spread islam but not arab culture. Most people chose arabic as langiage because it was the langauge of the most advanced and powerful civilization at the time.

Knowledge, Culture, Language, Art, Science, Philosophy, Laws, Belief Systems, Customs, Practices, Governance...etc is the characteristics and transmitted heritage of humanity as a whole and to be respected and accepted, adapted/assimilated in a natural manner or pace.Generally the Culture of the Ruling Class plays a dominant role and force for adaptation/adoption. The Sociological Laws and Social Control plays its role in preserving and maintaining ones age old inherited culture and resistance to alien Culture paving way for integration, assimilation.

It wasn't only bureaucrats; Abbasid came to power by Abu Muslim Khorasani's army, who was a Persian, and most of his army was Iranian. Abbasid assassinated Abu Muslim right after he handed over the power. This did not set well with the Iranian population of the Islamic empire. Abbasid tried to get rid of Iranian soldiers and commanders by buying Turkic slaves (mamluks) from Persians and giving them power in a military. This later helped Turks like Seljukes to get power in middle-east by having the Khalif’s blessing

No matter how hard you try, you can never separate the Persians from their culture because they know that they are a great civilization

As a muslim i can say that is not our role here to force the language or dostroy cultures, that was a big mistake ignoring the respect that islam reality has for other cultures

It wasn't the 'Arab empire'.... It was the 'khilafah' or caliphate and it was Islamic, they just happened to be started with Arabs, but as they conquered other countries throughout the centuries, there were various languages such as Latin, Greek, Spanish in al Andalus

The Persians never gave in to Islam. They killed Islamic Caliphs, kept fighting in Northern Iran and even from China and Rome.
