Exactly when will we see 30-40% discounts on new vehicles? Dealerships won't even discount 10% and are still placing $1k plus addendums on top of the inflated prices. I keep seeing the market is crashing, but no one is seeing

I have been hearing the word "crash" for the last 2 years. I recently looked at the window stickers of vehicles at multiple dealerships. Prices are still far too high for me to open up my wallet. When will the crash cause out the door price of vehicles to come down significantly?

2024, the US auto industry sold nearly 16 million vehicles, which was a 2% increase from 2023. This was the best year for sales since 2019.

Yeah all dealerships in my area advertised vehicles at 15-20k under msrp on their websites get to the dealerships and they tell you those prices are cash only prices. There is no market crash and never will be.

It seems like most of the car makers are going from the V6 to the 4-cylinder turbo something to do with emissions but it doesn't really get you any better gas mileage so this whole thing is just crazy

I mean where are we going with this.they build realy cool stuff but almost nothing is afordable.the low trim vehicules bone stock prices are stupid hi.the worst part about it is they built too much car and i think we realy gonna feel it a day or an other this is gonna be a problem.

What did they expect? Between the increasing prices and the crazy interest rates it’s was bound to happen. Nobody wants to spend half or even a quarter of what a mortgage costs. These vehicles depreciate crazy unlike a house. Vehicles are junk nowadays and vehicles don’t last 25+ years unlike a house. Vehicles are temporary and houses are lifetime so I can justify the crazy prices vehicles are nowadays.
