Vietnamese 🇻🇳 and Chinese cultures are very close.
- Even the Forbidden City, a symbol of Chinese civilization in Beijing, was designed by a kidnapped Vietnamese and built by forced laborers from Vietnam.

Visit the North Vietnam you should ask for gỏi cá similar as sashimi Japan or salmon salad Thailand. Each province has each own style of gỏi cá. Those homestays should cook some speciality dishes to promote their own culture.

The architecutures use cement for most importantly structural parts of the house, even with the walls. All they do to make the house more look likes a local house is just balcon, windows and the facade of the wall, instead of cement and steel for all. How can being said they revive a traditional local house like this??
