LeBron told everyone to keep that same energy. That's what we're doing.

Every clip of the lakers from last nights game could easily be a whole episode of Shaqtin’ a fool 🤣🤣

I won’t blame everything on Russ but that trade was a big reason why this didn’t work overall. First, it was a bad fit for them, and second, it caused us to be depleted depth and financial wise. It made it harder for us to pull a good team together

As a laker fan, I’m glad they’re getting boo’d. No one gets a pass for their lack of effort. Everything Perk said is 100% right.

"They have no right to boo LeBron"
Why not? He built this team, told the world to keep that energy and now they're getting blown out every night to bottom feeders.
Not even gonna mention the absence of defense or fighting spirit.

Kendrick Perkins taking Stephen A. Smith to school again.

As a Lebron fan his defense is a joke. Leaves wide open 3s and just looks for chase down blocks.

SAS: "LeBron should leave Lakers!"

*LeBron leaves Lakers*

SAS: "That's a weak move"

Thank you Perkins and Monica for being objective. Lebron decided to play when the game was already over in the 4th and it’s pretty much stat padding. Stephen A and others need to stop acting like he is blameless and does nothing wrong. He deserves to be booed just like the rest of the team

I'm a life long Laker fan and this team deserves to be booed. Sure, Kobe never really got booed when they were bad late in his career, but he carried himself differently. Russ, Bron and AD get in these press conferences and act like basketball isnt the most important thing or Bron hints at leaving the team. These dudes dont seem to want to try hard enough to play with better synergy and the standoffish comments are distasteful to the brand. The boos are warranted

Can’t believe Klutch client Kendrick Perkins is the only one who will hold LeBron accountable on this panel

I’m a lifelong Lakers fan and I’m glad we won in 2020.

That being said, if they’re not winning, then I don’t care what they’ve done in the past. What have you done for me lately?

LeBron is not a lifer, he’s a mercenary that jumps from team to team. Good for him, get all the money and rings he can and provide for himself and his family. I don’t begrudge him for doing any of that.

However, don’t expect me to revere him like he’s Kobe or even Shaq. There are certain players that are placed on that pedestal of Lakers lore. LeBron will never be a part of it.

I’ve been through lulls before and I’ll go through them again. Don’t expect me to lick his boots as if I’m scared to endure it. I made it through 30+ years of failure with the Dodgers, I can survive another journey through the Lakers wilderness. I’m not a Clippers fan. Don’t think I’m so used to failure that you can expect me to cheer first round exits and laud my team for regular season greatness followed by postseason mediocrity. I don’t throw my arms up and claim, “we run this town” when we’ve been to one conference finals. We’re the Lakers, we respect rings and we revere Lakers legends, not just any NBA great that spends a few years on the roster.

Lebron deserves a lot of the blame. He pushed the Lakers to sign Westbrook when management and coaches wanted to sign Buddy Hield. He is also focused on breaking Kareem’s record rather than the winning games. Last night, his Defense was awful and had a lot of turnovers. He only started scoring when the game was all ready a blow out

Kendrick Perkins is spot on with his take. I have been saying this about LeBron most of the season. I question the leadership.

He’s the one that made this mess, he picked this team smh

I love how the media never holds Lebron accountable

Lakers fan were not booing lebron for his on the court mistakes. They were booing him for his off the court mistakes by forcing Lakers management to give up their entire future on AD and Russ.
