"Reliability matters more than a Badge" it cannot be more true...  New Mercs are basically dead on water in the first year and BMW while last a little longer it will also crap out in the 3 year lifespan...  Acura =/= Honda = Amazing Reliability.

The Mercedes CLA looks stunning on the outside but the inside feels so cheap and cramped. I was shocked, and I sat in the CLA45. My Nissan has a nicer interior.

2 months into a used 2017 with 30k km on it. So far, my only complaint is that there's no good place to put coins, and a weird occasional rattle that i can't locate, let alone reproduce (but i will eventually find and destroy it!). Otherwise, an amazing car especially for the money.

Plans include RV6 PCD, window tint, 18" wheels, and 225 or 235 wide tires.

Regular grade gasoline runs just fine without noticeable change in MPG and performance.

I’ve been using regular unleaded for a year. There is no difference in the performance and mpg. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Just bought an ILX after 16 years with the Teg ( which was unhappily totaled in an accident). This car is a smaller TLX. Any resemblance to the Civic is gone. Never thought I would drive an automatic, but I like this car more, the more I drive it. In sport mode it s fun to drive. My guess is that the engine will be a lot more reliable than the new turbos.

Definitely still a "fancy" Civic. The transmission seems to be the only high point for the ILX, but not enough to differentiate it from the Civic. It evens uses the same infotainment unit seen in Honda. Acura needs to put more effort in differentiating their cars in refinement, performance, and tech from Honda if they want to be taken seriously. It seems to compete in a class lower than the A3 and CLA, like the Buick as mentioned.
