You are welcome for the info. Lol You should get an infrared temp sensor on the leg that keeps blowing the fuse. It’s rare but I’ve seen a disconnect with bad connections cause the fuse to blow. Let the unit run a while the test the temp. on the disconnect. I’ve seen it twice in the 41 years I’ve been doing AC. If you ever have a problem you can’t figure out reach out to me. I’ll assist you anyway I can.

Geoff. Start checking amp draw on each component. You will probably find something is pulling higher amps than it is rated for.

I was looking at an AAon rtu that wasnt cooling I checked system I notice the compressor was running but the condenser fans were short cycling after trying to find out I noticed they were in series to FCS (fan cycling switches just to see if the fans would stay on steady I jumped out the FCS ths condenser fan stayed on and space started cooling, the fan was short cycling they would run for a minute and then turn off for a minute. I never worked on these units but my service manager and senior tech said the fans suppose to work like that. is that true? Because in all my years working in the field I never ran into a unit that the fan short cycled for a minute and then run for a minute, pressures was steady at the comlressor, is that true?
