The BMW 330e PHEV is the most advanced 3 series EVER from BMW and compliments the petrol lineup of the new BMW 3 series. I explain the benefits of getting a Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicle, how a PHEV works, how much does it cost to charge a BMW 330e PHEV at home, the cost of a 2020 BMW 330e and a detailed review of the 2020 330e.The core of the 330e is its powertrain. BMW's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder generates 184 horsepower with a single electric motor nestled in the eight-speed automatic transmission providing an extra 113 hp.

Its thanks to BMW Chandlers in Hailsham we can bring you these reviews so give them a call if you are interested in a BMW

Would you choose the 330e over the 330

Nice car. I can tell since November that got mine. Just one thing, Owners manual states that you shouldn't use an extension cable for charging.

My question is, does this car recharge whilst running on petrol? Or is the only method from plugging it in? I've heard previously that about 1% typically can be generated by the regenerative braking, but otherwise can you regenerate from running the petrol engine like in a Prius?

I'm in the market for a new car next Summer and I'm really fancying the 330e. I currently have a diesel Audi A3 that I'm just simply not running the miles into like I used to when I bought it, therefore typical DPF blockages. My journey to work is 1.2 miles away, and then most of my other journeys of the day involve a lot of traffic/stopping and starting. So my logic was to run these journeys on electric, I feel like I'd save a fortune. I have no access to a socket at my home but there are chargers at work.

Although every so often in my job I can find myself needing to make longer motorway journeys, or day trips with my girlfriend, trips to see friends etc. This is where I'm curious about the recharging

Can anyone confirm approx how many Kw to full charge. Would it be around 1.5 to 2Kw?

is that bmw less then 50g/km CO2 exhaust emissions and is capable of being operated with zero emissions for a minimum range

of 10 miles??

I've had mine for 6 months and it's a great car however you will not get 35 miles of electric range. Most I've got is low 20s and that's driving like a vicar!

I don't think its recommended to charge it with an extension cord

I feel like the 0-60 is lower than 5.6. There’s no way it’s not faster than a normal 330

Rocket science is merely thrust over weight. It's not that complicated.
