I tried this in Australia. I liked the flavour honestly. The inside is a soft spongy flesh. I fermented the rest with salt for a week. The outcome was amazing.

Probably be really good for infusing sugar syrups, extracts, liquor, etc. Not enough sour lemon flavor, add citric acid. Not enough sweet lemon flavor, add sugar. Sounds like a bartender’s best friend!

You don't really eat this by itself. They best ways to use it are as garnish, candied or infuse it, it's a very sweet fragrant lemons smell.
