Access 2016 - Creating Tables - How To Create a New Table in Microsoft MS Design & Datasheet View

In this tutorial I show you the basics of creating and setting up a Microsoft Access 2016 database. This demo shows you how to use Office 365, specifically Access 16 to create a table, define field data types, change field type names, edit the primary key, and adjust the width of columns. Question. Most of my records will need a short text field; however, sometimes, I will need more. I do not want to use Long Text in the design for all the records' Data Type because, it will take more space. Therefore, only for those records that need more Text Field in their notes, can I change from Short Text to Long Text without making the rest of the database or future records changing to Long Text? In other words, can I change the Text Field size individually (one record at the time) based on my needs? Thank you in advance for your answer. Cheers. 😊
