I don't know if you even keep up with your channel anymore. I have a beautiful Elgin automatic self winding watch that I received from my son in-law a very long time ago and I was never able to wear it because the 'seconds' hand kept getting stuck on the big hand, so for about 15yrs it sat in a drawer...until today. This instructional video was a Huuuuge help to me and I was able to fix my watch (that included stem/crown removal) without any problems whatsoever and it's all due to this video of yours. So thank you so much!

These types of videos... are worth a lot... even for those of us who are NOT dedicated to fixing wrist watches, but it is very important that someone who has experience makes our lives easier and takes away a little bit of our ignorance of how the things.... thank you.... thank you for sharing something that might seem of little importance but those of us who value the details.... we must be grateful that there are talented people... and they share it with us.

I had to remove a crown gasket in my Addiesdive Submariner, was pretty cool seeing the Miyota 2115 in person. It’s smaller than I had imagined, crazy they can mass produce these quartz movements for so inexpensively. Ridiculously accurate, and reliable too, lasting decades with simple battery swaps. I’m an even bigger fan of quartz now. While I was in there I popped the crystal out, misaligned cyclops, I got it much much closer to perfect alignment. A great beater watch when I don’t feel like abusing the Casio Duro. 👌🏼

The video helped me remove my watch stem! Upon further inspection, I saw a faintly marked “Press —>” on the movement showing where to press to release the stem.
