Gears 2 is definitely number 1. Best story by far, I don't play multiplayer much. So many moments bro. Dizzy and tai sacrifice, carmine death, tai suicide, dom finding Maria. What a masterpiece of a game.

don't even get me started on the worm mission in gears of war 2 it's easily my favourite mission in the game, maybe even franchise, cutting the worms hearts before you drown in blood is extremely creative

Gears 3 is the 🐐 of the series imo, first time 4 player coop, horde 2.0, they even use to have dedicated servers for the online, plus it was the grand finale to the trilogy 🔥

Ok hear ne out on this, gears 3 was my first GoW game but it was cause i was younger at the time but i developed a good connection with it, but bruh i was legit tearing up when dom died i didn't know that much on it at the time but he was already my favorite character and to see him go out like that legit broke me
