Is it weird to have a favorite tree? If it is then I'm 100% WEIRD because I have one and it may be one you've never heard of before! The lacebark elm is delicate, shapely, and, as it's name indicates, LACEY in it's appearance, especially its bark. 'Drake' and 'Alee' are both varieties of Lacebark Elm that grow well in our environment and are availabe to purchase at your local garden center. If you're looking for a medium sized tree that adds visual interest but wont take over your entire yard, this may be the one for you!
