I started watching WNBA in 1997 then left around 2005 and re-started watching them back last year in the LVA and Liberty Finals....I have been hooked since...the product is more polished and the girls are better entertainers (the fashion, the dance, the shots, the assists, the free throws). Kudos to them

Brutal way to end regulation… from the live-look-in call for “embellishment”, to the foul call 3 seconds later, to the ‘confirmation on review’ instead of a reversal… absolutely devastating finish to the series

This was a disgraceful game from the referees. Reeve is absolutely correct, you keep a team to 30% shooting, only to lose solely due to refs gifting almost 20 extra points on FT’s to NY.. she’s right, it sucks and ruins the game. Feel bad for collier she should be celebrating a championship and finals MVP award tonight

I’m not a fan of the Lynx by no means and I can honestly say the refs deserve the MVP award, for handing this game to New York. The Lynx know they were robbed, that’s why you don’t see any emotional tears after losing a tough game. What you see are people that are pissed, they were robbed!

NY complained about not getting calls in last games so they got extra calls in game 5. MVP is the refs

She should go back the whole series and watch how many times Collier grabs and holds and fouls on defense. Collier really can't complain about being held when she did that the entire series. Thats her style of play. Minnesota hand checks all game. New York matched their energy. Some nights the whistle went the Lynx's way, other times it went the liberty's way.

How do u win a championship game shooting 30 percent, and having your star players shoot 5 for 34 ? Everyone higher up in the league wanted ny to win. Commissioner wears a ny skyline outfit. Phee shoots 0 fts. Stewart has more fts than whole lynx team. Crazy. Tough to stay a fan.

LYNX COACH Is exactly correct. I called this officiating starting the 4Q. Not alone the HORRIBLE FOUL call. Great job calling out WNBA. That game was embarrassing to watch. A professional game shouldn't struggle to score 100 total points.

LYNX WERE ROBBED!! You cannot even celebrate Liberty after this sequence the game ended. Yes, both teams shot horrible but if the Lynx’s benefited from the foul shooting it would not have been a close game at all. Liberty shot 25 free throws in a game 5.

I would have had a lot of respect for Sandy if she said "you know we won, but I do agree we need to change the refereeing". The irony of complaing the game before about calling a "fair game" then getting 25 vs 8 free throws is a MOMENT for them and makes the entire league look horrible. Be a better coach, this will haunt you because you had the moment to be a leader and demand change but you didn't.

Go off Reeves. Everyone arguing Game 4 was in favor of Minnesota, did not watch the series. Minnesota had to fight awful calls and steal Game 1 to win Liberty, against the refs. It wasn't until Cheryl brought up the officiating after game 3 press conference. Tonight's game was a disgrace to sports. Lynx were robbed, and tonights championship was determined at the freethrow line

I really feel for Minnesota. They were just robbed in broad daylight. The replays are there for all to see. Those refs had better not be back next year.
