Bridgerton Cast REVEAL What They Thought While Filming Season 3..
Welcome back to Film Madness, today on the channel we are going to reveal what the cast thought about season 3 of Bridgerton. We have been seriously excited about Bridgerton season 3 and Bridgerton season 4 since, well, we binge-watched Bridgerton season 2 in one sitting back in March. It's hardly surprising since there IS SO MUCH more to come – after all, there are rather a lot of Bridgerton siblings to get through. Considering this is Netflix's biggest series ever, we are clutching our pearls for all the chaos Lady Whistledown is still due to deliver. Going by Julia Quinn’s novels, for which the series is based on, the Regency period drama will delve into the story of one main family member per season (and yes, those with quick maths skills, will have already worked out that this means eight seasons… EIGHT!). So, what do we know about Bridgerton season 3 (hint, there might be a return of a certain Duke)? Here are the essential deets…
There are eight Bridgerton siblings and eight novels. So far, we've seen the story of Daphne Bridgerton (played by Phoebe Dynevor), and the second series follows the eldest sibling, Lord Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey) – so going by Quinn's books, the third should follow second-eldest sibling Benedict Bridgerton (played by Luke Thompson). But hold your horses, because Nicola Coughlan has finally spilled the beans about the next series of Bridgerton – and it appears things are going off-piste from the books' order. She wrote on Instagram: “Like Lady Whistledown I’ve been keeping quite a big secret for quite a long time… but I can finally tell you that @bridgertonnetflix Season Three is Colin and Penelope’s Story.”
Luke Newton, who plays Colin, added in his own post: "Looks like the cat's out of the bag!
