I've been going back and forth on solid fuel vs diesel on our catalina 27. This definitely helps, an I think I have a handy spot to put something that size. Certainly cheaper than a dickinson install

I’ve never seen one installed in the cabin, usually in the lazarette. Any particular reason for your choice of mounting location?

Does the exhaust pipe get hot? And if it does how do you deal with that, especially with exposure from the cut out? Any leaks from rain?
