Bolg finally realized that his life wasn't a tragedy, it was a comedy.

I had an Uruk, named "firebelly" who saved me countless times on the battlefield. He has earned my respect, admiration and loyalty - and I repaid his service, by making him overlord. Once the shadow wars started, it all got so chaotic, that I didn't save him once his fortress was taken. I retook that fortress, but never rescued him / installed him as overlord again.
A few battles past, and then, as I was defending another fortress - he appeared. Half of his face blown up, his name changed to "faceless". He screamed about how I abondoned him, and how his only wish was to get revenge on me.
After our fight ended, and he fell to his knees, he told me with a final breath:
"So, this is how it ends. I'm proud that I tried to take your life - this army deserves a true leader to lead them. Not someone like you".

I cut off his arms and head. And left his body on that balcony, inside that fortress.
But his words.. will hunt me forever.

when there is a mass betrayal i just shame them to deranged, recruit them all again and let them fight in the pit, the winner gets a peacefull death by falling

My body guard (something) the gluttonous betrayed me so I shamed him until he went deranged and then he would just mope around crying about how he was so full but he couldn’t stop eating. Lol

So I had a similar experience. My guy was executed by an enemy captain, came back and betrayed me, I CUT HIM IN HALF, he comes back, I shame him to get him back, which causes him to go deranged, I recruit him back, he betrays me again, I CUT off both his legs and an arm, he comes back, I just killed him again and took the other arm. I kinda hope he just goes to orc heaven. Once he went deranged he would just smile and go "mahp! Mahp! Mahp! Mahp!" I feel bad for Shaka. I hope he's found peace

If it gets that bad, they should make it so you end up finding them being bullied by other orcs, trying to defend themselves from physical abuse, cowering in a dark corner, or doing some other mentally deranged thing.

The one betrayal I got that just kind of rocked me to my core, he was my bodyguard and I called him in to help me with an Uruk and his blood brother. He minced them both up pretty well, then immediately betrayed me. I hot him down, and he defied death. So I beat him down again, and just as I was executing him he goes "Serves me right, I suppose. I should have known better than to betray you. Boss."

Honestly you should feel horrible for this. Yes he betrayed you, but only after you abandoned him and left him to bleed out. Then you proceed to shame him, a fate worse than death how many times?
