1:02:00 James Lindsay said he is not a conservative but a Liberal. Dennis Prager says that "conservatives today are liberals." He said, "since the Nazis" every one of the tenants of his Columbia University Jewish liberalism has been adopted by conservatives. I heard him say that on Lauren Chen's YouTube video several years ago.

33:37 Gotta admit, it take some guts to quote the Unabomber with a straight face.

Libertarianism is liberalism without the nanny state.

one of my favorite episodes yet, jon. really enjoy pete's show, and chuckled at your previous mention of him not being a christian because i wasn't under that same impression. in any case, i wasn't expecting to see him as a guest so soon after you mentioned him, but this was great.

Many libertarians subscribe to an Austrian School of economics which describes a moral market. The first time I ever heard an argument against central fractional reserve banking and usury was via Austrians like the Mises Institute. What is the alternative, it is what we have. Whether Conservative or Liberal, we are all Keynesians now. This is just one example that I could never be a conservative which in itself has become a nebulous label. Conservatism has only served to status quo the current thing in time. Liberalism pushes the new thing and conservatism normalizes it down the line. Theu are a symbiotic force.

Cancelling parades because nobody under 21 can attend along with organized 'story time' events for toddlers/children really should be quite obvious.
I mean, they're not knocking down the doors on senior nursing homes and elderly retirement villages to read to the elderly now, are they?

Jon, this is fire. Hope you're recording this. It might get pulled due to gripey people and YouTube "rules". Thanks for having Mr. Q on.

Before he even mentioned Owen Benjamin I could see the influence.

Not saying it is a bad thing, but i could see it.

Fellow Christian, please keep in mind that, unless I missed something, Owen still does not believe in the deity of Christ.

He's right about the Spanish Inquisition: it was an extension of the Reconquista.
