Pepe Marquez is a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, and musician from Santa Barbara, California. He was born to Mexican parents who emigrated to the United States in the late 1970s. Growing up in Southern California, Pepe was constantly exposed to Mexican music, which had a great influence on him. As a child, he began playing the guitar and writing his own songs. He has been entertaining audiences for the last 37 years with a style that hints of influences like Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and Rocky Padilla, but with a voice all his own.
