Invasive Species: Phragmites & Waterfowl Hunters

Here in South Australia phragmites is ubiquitous and I presume native. I can assure you that a good Labrador retriever can penetrate the dense canes and retrieve to hand our precious Pacific Black ducks. However, I absolutely agree, if its not native to the environment, kill it! We have too many invasive plants here, none, in my experience are of benefit to man or creature.

Lost cause trying to control phragmites just a waste of money it is here to stay.
