The price/value ratio on this razor is phenomenal. The design looks and feels good in the hand and even though I usually prefer a longer handle, the balance of this razor is great so it sits very nicely in the palm.
The top cap design is both good looking and functional as the angled surfaces make finding and maintaining a constant angle a breeze and it's thin enough to easily fit under the nose.
The fit & finish on the razor is excellent, with a nice silky surface and a build quality that makes you worry more about any surface you could potentially drop it on than about the razor itself. The whole thing also fits together extremely snugly, and feels like it's made of one solid piece when completely assembled.
As a result, the blade is clamped very solidly and I haven't felt any sort of chatter whatever the angle or shaving direction, making the shaves extremely smooth. This razor just takes everything in stride and makes it feel like nothing.

The razor is more aggressive than it seems; I got plates II and III as an upgrade on my Muhle R41, and plate III is easily more aggressive than it albeit much smoother. Plate II is noticeably less aggressive than either plate III or the R41, and has quickly become my favourite for frequent shaving, and plate III for taking down growth of more than 3-4 days.
