This is one time use blade. If blades are sharpened again the gap between the blades of two shaft will increase and it will not grind the bottles. Also, there is no provision for reducing the distance of blade shaft.

It's not really helpful from the producer that says, "i made this from gears etc". When no you didn't make the motor, where did you get that? No, you didn't make the octagon spindles with screw ends. Where did you get that? No, you didn't make the gears. Where did you get those? Since the actual "teeth" of the machine doesn't look like steel, you may have made those. The spacers between the teeth, you didn't make those, where did you find them? These are the questions that people are asking. Please show the links to where you sorced all of the parts that you actually didn't make! It is a cool machine, but I'm definitely sure you don't make all of the parts from scratch.
